Neurotech NA, Minneapolis-based market leader in rehabilitation orthopedic and pain management devices, has recently hired Eric Bushard as patient care operations manager.

In this newly created position, Bushard is responsible for the timely, accurate and ethical collection of all documentation required for insurance reimbursement for products such as the Kneehab, the company’s flagship product. Bushard will manage the interface between patients and Neurotech’s growing network of prescribing physicians, clinics and reimbursement providers.

“We are excited to have Eric join us, as he will play a crucial role in Neurotech’s customer service and insurance reimbursement program,” said John Velure, vice president of North American operations for Neurotech.

With over 10 years’ experience in reimbursement of medical devices, Bushard was most recently with DJO Global. During his 11-year tenure there, he advanced from patient care service representative to reimbursement support manager responsible for a team of 21 people in internal sales, medical billing operations and customer service support. Bushard’s team successfully built a reimbursement billing program for the company’s custom-fabricated durable medical equipment.

According to Velure, Bushard’s deep knowledge of medical billing operations and his excellent track record in customer service support areas will be immediately leveraged. “Eric’s experience will enable him to hit the ground running at Neurotech. I’m very satisfied that this new department at Neurotech is in very capable hands,” Velure said.
