SHELBY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - The Department of Public Safety has released the names of those involved in a two-vehicle wreck which claimed the life of a Carthage woman and injured three others.
According to the report, Julia Adams Murphy, 53, died on the scene on State Highway 7 East in Shelby County.
The report states Murphy was the passenger in a 2005 Dodge Ram, which was headed westbound on Highway 7 and turned in front of a 2007 Mack truck, driven by Juillermo Galindo, of Nacogdoches.
The driver of the Dodge, Brandon Cole Price, 28, of Carthage, and a one-year-old boy, Holden Price, who was another passenger, were taken by helicopter to a Shreveport hospital. Brandon Price is listed in serious condition and Holden Price is listed in good condition.
Galindo was taken to a Center hospital.
Everyone involved in the wreck were wearing seatbelts.
