LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - An Angelina County grand jury has issued no-bills for a Lufkin man previously accused of attacking a burglary suspect and a Dallas man accused of sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl eight years ago.
The no-bills came along with 46 indictments released Wednesday.
According to a previous story, Marco Marines, 31, got in an altercation with Jose Buenrostro, 20, on East Kerr Street on Oct. 17. Police said at some point, Marines struck Buenrostro with a "stick-type" object. Buenrostro was treated a Lufkin hospital for cuts, scrapes and bruises to his arm and shoulder.
Marines was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Another no-bill came for Rodrigo Alday, 32, who was accused of sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl eight years ago. The case came to light after the girl, who is now 14, told LPD detectives and a forensic interviewer at Harold's House about the assault in August 2012. Alday was arrested on a charge of first-degree aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Charges are now dismissed for Marines and Alday.
The grand jury indicted Chad White, 31, of Houston, on a charge of indecency with a child. Diboll Police arrested White in August. He is accused of fondling a girl under the age of 14.
The grand jury also indicted Miguel Rosales, 38, of Diboll, on two counts of second-degree indecency with a child and second-degree sexual assault.
Diboll Police arrested Rosales in June following an investigation into an allegation that he molested a girl under the age of 17 on many occasions dating back to 2008.
Three separate affidavits give graphic details on different ways the victim said Rosales molested her, telling her he "was training her."
