Benjamin Fornes, of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, was referred for inspection of his Toyota SUV. During the inspection, CBP officers found almost 15 pounds of heroin and nearly 4 pounds of methamphetamine inside the vehicle's spare tire.

The drugs and vehicle were seized. Fornes was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
