Friday was day 2 of the Temple Senior Cup, and it was looking better today than yesterday.
40 teams of two took the links today looking to get into position to grab the championship.
This is an annual event at the country club and organizers with the event say that the tournament brings some great players to the city and only helps the image of Lufkin.
"It gives us exposure about Lufkin, crown colony and the great facilities we have here. A lot of these guys are national armatures that have played competitively and have been professionals and gone back to being armatures," SAID Crown Colony's PGA Professional, Ben Burns.
The final round will tee off at 8 a.m. and is expected to wrap up around 1:30 p.m.
