LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Lufkin Police officers arrested 20-year-old man Thursday after allegedly choked both his wife and mother-in-law and knocked holes in a door and the home's sheet rock with his fists, feet, and head.
According to the police report, he assaulted his wife while she was holding their 3-year-old son.
Joshua Colyn Pinner, of Lufkin, is still being held in the Angelina County Jail on two Class A misdemeanor charges of assault-family violence and a state-jail felony charge of endangering a child. Collectively, his bond has been set at $3,000 for the two assault charges. No bail has been set for the child endangerment charge.
When officers responded to a disturbance call at Lotus Lane Apartments, they found Pinner chasing his wife and mother through the residence, according to Lt. David Young of the Lufkin Police Department. Pinner allegedly choked each of the women separately, and the child endangerment charge stemmed from the fact that the suspect reportedly assaulted his wife while she was holding their son.
