LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Angelina County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a 25-year-old Huntington man Sunday after he allegedly became upset over news of a break-up with his ex-girlfriend and threw rocks at and punched her car.
Michael Lisenby is still being held in the Angelina County jail on a state-jail felony charge of criminal mischief between $1,500 and $20,000. His bail has been set at $2,500.
The alleged incident occurred on Jan. 3 at a home in the 1400 block of Neal Road, according to the arrest affidavit. When the 20-year-old victim attempted to leave the residence, Lisenby allegedly started throwing rocks at her car, "causing extensive damage to the front windshield."
Lisenby also reportedly punched the car's rear door on the driver's side, causing a dent.
The victim told the ACSo deputies that her insurance claims adjuster estimated the damage to her vehicle to be $2,140. She also showed the deputies photos of the damage that matched her description and the estimate.
