NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Investigators with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office have cleared two more burglary investigations. NCSO deputies arrested two men Monday in connection to a burglary that occurred on County Road 806 on April 2.

Mickey Johnson, 19, and Mauricio Sanchez, 17, both of Nacogdoches, were both arrested and charged with burglary of a habitation, which is a second-degree felony.

According to a press release, NCSO deputies responded to a burglary call on CR 806 on April 2, and a witness at the scene was able to give authorities a description of the vehicle used by the suspects. Working from information that had been obtained from other ongoing investigations, detectives with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office were able to identify two possible suspects in the CR 806 burglary.

Then investigators tracked down stolen property from the residence at a local store.

"After obtaining video footage from the store, investigators were able link the two suspects to the burglary," the press release stated.

NCSO investigators recovered all of the property stolen from the house on CR 806 and returned it to its owner.

"Since the 1st of April, the Sheriff's Office has made 15 felony arrests for the offense of burglary," Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Jason Bridges said. "This has led to the clearance of 13 burglary investigations in Nacogdoches County."
