NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

A Nacogdoches man pleaded guilty to a pair of robberies in 2012, accepting 20-year prison sentences on Thursday.

District Judge Campbell Cox approved the sentences for Christopher Terrell Elmore, 20.

Elmore and Denzel Neal, 19, are accused of robbing the Shell convenience store, located on the intersection of East Main Street and University Drive, on Nov. 25, 2012, and the Holiday Inn Express, located in the 3800 block of South Street.

According to a press release, Nacogdoches Police Department detectives identified the two men from surveillance video tape footage from one of the robberies. The NPD detectives were able to obtain arrest warrants for the two men, and a Crime Stoppers tip led the investigation to Austin.

Austin Police arrested them on Dec. 4.
