LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Harmony Hill Baptist church members celebrated Saturday at their 100th year anniversary at the Ellen Trout Zoo and Lufkin Expo Center.
There were several different activities set up for the youth members throughout the day. They had great time in each bounce house and getting their faces painted.
There were many different activities for family fun day. Everyone enjoyed the pig chases, egg toss, and dunking booth.
Family fun day ended with a big fireworks show and dinner.
"We're celebrating 100 years of ministry at our present location. God has blessed our fellowship and kept the doors open. We've increased our fellowship in size and number; and we've just been having a great time here today," John Greene, Harmony Hill Baptist Church senior pastor, said.
The church has been in the same location on Chestnut Street since November of 1913 and will have several more celebrations throughout the year.
