HUNTINGTON, TX (KTRE) - First responders were called out to a two-vehicle wreck near Huntington Tuesday night.
The accident happened around 8 p.m. on Highway 69 South near FM 326.
According to DPS spokesperson, David Hendry, the roadways were blocked, but as of 9 p.m. all lanes are open, and traffic is back to normal.
Hendry stated at least one person was injured and transported to a local hospital, the extent of their injuries is still unknown.
Preliminary reports said a Chevy truck and a Nissan Altima were involved, authorities could not give specific details about what happened.
Lufkin and Huntington Fire, Angelina County Sheriff's deputies, and DPS were the first responders on the scene.
