(RNN) - You might be a redneck if you want to ride a roller coaster called "git-er-done!"

The landscape of amusement parks may have a "redneck" themed version coming very soon.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the comedians of the Blue Collar Comedy tour - Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy - may be in the planning stages of an amusement park named "Blue Collar Country."

The amusement park will feature rides, retail, hotels, a resort for RV's, a 100,000 square-foot events centers for concerts, sporting events and conventions and various themed restaurants, according to Hollywood Reporter.

The location of the 500-acre project is reportedly Foley, AL. The city's mayor, John Koniar, called the prospective development as, "Branson, MO meets Six Flags."

Foley, AL, is nearly three hours southwest of Montgomery, AL, on the Alabama gulf coast.

Initial reports say phase one of the project will cost $200 million that will be funded "through a combination of bonds, grants and institutional financing."

"Blue Collar Country will be up and running in the next two to three years," according to Blue Collar manager J.P. Williams.

The partnership group includes '70s singer Tony Orlando, who is said to be the origin of the idea and who found the location. If the first Blue Collar Country theme park is successful, more locations could be built across the country, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Genre-specific theme parks are nothing new to the United States - besides theme parks like Disney World and DisneyLand, Busch Gardens, Universal Studios and Sea World, other theme parks have been based on cultural phenomenon like those based on the Harry Potter series and Lord of the Rings.
