TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Tips from citizens have helped police nab the third suspect they say robbed a Tyler gas station.

25-year-old Ashad Rael Coats was arrested at an apartment complex in Tyler. He was indicted for engaging in organized criminal activity.

In January, officers said two unidentified black men with handguns entered the Food Fast store in Tyler, but realized the clerk was outside smoking. The worker was forced back into the store and the men got away with cash from the register and fled into a wooded area behind the store, according to investigators.

Police say Coats was the getaway driver.

Darryl Daniels and Jaquin Dawson, were also indicted for engaging in organized criminal activity, as well as aggravated robbery, in relation to this crime.
