Thieves steal trailer from business during business hours

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

A local t-shirt business had a trailer stolen from the back of their store while they were still open.

It happened at 2610 West Loop 281 in Longview at Caps and Tees, and the whole thing was caught by a security camera.

Shortly after six on Friday, employees were still at work when a van backed in. A man cut the lock and hooked up the trailer. You can see a small child get out of the van and get back in while it was being stolen. Then the van just drove off.

According to the store's owner, a man at a neighboring business saw the van parked outside the store when he left at six on Friday evening. A few minutes later the trailer was gone. The Owner of Caps and Tees didn't know it was missing until today.

Call Longview Police if you think you know anything about this case.
