TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Trinity County authorities are search for a 25-year-old man who allegedly choked his girlfriend and ran off before law enforcement officials arrived on the scene. The suspect, Patrick Seth Lee, is considered armed and dangerous.

Law enforcement officers have surrounded the area, and Texas Department of Criminal Justice bloodhounds have just arrived on scene to assist in the ongoing manhunt.

Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace urged the public to stay away from Lee. He said if anyone spots Lee, he or she should call 911 or call the Trinity County Sheriff's Office at (936) 642-1424.

"He's on meth," Wallace said. "I've dealt with him before."

Lee was last seen in Jim Butler Road and Possum Walk Road area.

According to Wallace TCSO deputies responded to a domestic violence call in that area. Before law enforcement officials arrived on the scene, Lee said he wouldn't be taken alive and took off running.

"He choked his girlfriend pretty bad," Wallace said.
