The right leader has allowed Nacogdoches Sheet Metal and Plumbing to serve the community for 50 years. The milestone was celebrated today with Chamber members.
Owner Jason Bradford gives credit to the Simms family, the original owners, but the majority of the praise goes to the company's loyal customers.
"They're the ones who call us and ask us to come out to their house," Bradford said. "They put their trust and confidence in us to get in there and fix their air conditioning or their plumbing issues that they have. And maybe from time to time come up and build some sheet metal work for 'em. And they're the reasons why we're here."
Nacogdoches Sheet Metal and Plumbing employs 45 to 50 employees on average. The sheet metal presses are as durable as the company. Some of the equipment is older than the shop itself.
