Molly is soft, snuggly and sweet

Posted: Updated:
LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

She's soft, sweet and deserving of a loving home.

This is Molly. She's a 2-year-old black and white Border Collie.

She's got a great personality that will fit in with any family.

Director of the Winnie Berry Humane Society said, "I think really any home would be good for Molly. She's just so easy to get along with all she's looking to do is be loved."

A volunteer has been fostering Molly some weekends so she can get out of the shelter and wanted to share some insight on this sweet girl.

In the words of Molly's foster, Jordan, "I get to go to my foster mom's on the weekends and she says I'm a good girl. I've never had an accident in the house. I like being outside with other dogs, I don't dig and I love giving hugs. I also like to be the boss but I'm not aggressive around food. I'm great with other dogs. I sleep inside at night and I don't make a peep and I hold it all night long. I love toys and treats and love to run and play."

The Humane Society is offering a 50 percent off adoption fees for big dogs to try and help them get out of the shelter faster.

To find out how you can adopt our Furry Friend Molly. Call the Winnie Berry Humane Society at 936-639-1880

Each Thursday we will highlight a new adoptable animal in need of a loving family only on KTRE.
