NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Friends and family of Dane Shaw, the 4-year-old boy, who was killed in a Nacogdoches house fire Sunday, are asking residents to wear royal blue on Saturday to honor his memory.

Lisa Garner, the owner of Texas Size Bling in Nacogdoches and a good friend of the Shaw family, says she has made customized shirts for the event and will donate the proceeds she makes from the shirts to the Shaw family.

"My daughter Kenzie was in Pre-K with him this year. I got to know his mom on a recent field trip for the school," Garner said.

The t-shirts are $10 each and she says urges customers to pay with cash or check.

Shaw's grandmother, Gina Langley, was also lost in the fire and over $16,000 has already been raised online.
