GARRISON, TX (KTRE) - Two out-of-staters have been injured in a two-vehicle wreck in Garrison Thursday afternoon.
One of the people in the Buick SUV has been taken by helicopter to a hospital. The other was taken by ambulance to a Nacogdoches hospital.
According to Garrison Police Chief Joel Barton, it appears the driver fell asleep while driving on US 59 North. He collided into a FedEx truck and spun out of control and drove into a portable sign.
Northbound traffic has been diverted to one lane as crews clean up the accident scene.
