Lufkin PD seeks public's help in nabbing a burglar

LUFKIN, TX (News Release) -

Crime Stoppers of Lufkin wants your help identifying a burglar and recovering stolen property.

A building located in the 800 block of Ellen Trout Drive in Lufkin had been burglarized several times in recent months and a motion-activated game & trail camera was deployed in an attempt to identify the actor(s).  The camera revealed that on the evening of May 06, 2013, an unidentified male suspect burglarized the building and stole property, coming and going several times between 6:00 and 7:30 PM.  The camera captured the images of the suspect shown at right

The suspect is a black male who, at the time of the crime, wore khaki pants, a bright blue, short-sleeve, collared, knit shirt, black shoes, and a black baseball cap with light colored text or a logo across its front.  During this burglary, the suspect stole a motor from a machine inside the building and a yellow, seven-rung aluminum step ladder.
