Mom, children escape Angelina Co. home fire

Posted: Updated:

A mother and her two children managed to escape a fire which gutted a home off of State Highway 103 East Tuesday afternoon.

Fuller Springs Fire Chief Bobby Cranford said they are not sure of the cause and that the fire was under control by 5:15 p.m.

Although the mobile home's outter walls were still standing, the inside of the home was destroyed.

Firefighters with Fuller Springs, Rivercrest and Moffett responded to the call.
