New Hartford, CT (WFSB) -

Officials have released the identity of a missing New Hartford woman as the search for her continues in the Farmington River.

The Department of Environmental Conservation police resumed searching for 33-year-old Rachel Greene after they say she fell into the Farmington River Saturday morning.

Greene, of  24 Prospect Street, was rafting with three men early Saturday morning when the craft capsized. Police say she was not wearing a life-jacket, and fell into the rain-swollen river.

Two other men on a second raft, and the man on the capsized raft were able to swim to shore. Police said the four individuals entered the water at about 2:30 a.m. Police were notified at 5:35 a.m. by homeowners in the area who reported hearing people in the river.

The Connecticut State Police and New Hartford Firefighters began the search and boats from Canton were also called in. A Coast Guard helicopter and state police airplane have also begun sweeping the area from the sky.

EnCon police also used two search and rescue dogs as well as ATVs to search along the shore.
