Saturday morning fire destroys family home in Angelina County

ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Lufkin Fire says a report of a fire was called in around 4:10 AM Saturday morning off of FM 706 in Angelina County.

According to the report, Hudson and Central Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a structure fire at Hillside Mobile Home Park where heavy smoke was visible.

Lufkin Fire says an EMS unit was called out but there were no injuries reported. 

A news tip received by a friend of the family says the home owners have two small children and lost everything in the fire.
