7 from 7: Stories for your Tuesday afternoon

Good afternoon, everyone! We have a lot to share with you today!

Here are a few stories to get you started:

1.  We have been keeping you informed about a story in Tyler that took place over the weekend. A man was killed in a motel Saturday morning, and we have received and posted surveillance video from the hotel that shows what police believe may be the suspects in this murder. Please click here to view the video and read the whole story.

2. We've had a few storms pop up this afternoon, and a couple of them produced a lot of lightning, and even some hail. Our Grant Dade is in the StormTracker7 Weather Center and is ready to fill you in on the web and on-air at 4, 5 and 6pm!

3. Here's a tear-jerker story for those of you who are animal lovers: a dying dog holds on to see owner return from his overseas deployment. Such an amazing story of loyalty; see the video and read the story here.

4. There has been a recall issued by the Chrysler Corporation in their Jeep brand.  2.7 older model Jeeps are involved in the recall due to risk of fire; we have the details for you here.

5. In an ongoing effort to protect Texans from the costly destruction caused by feral hogs, Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples today announced the Texas Department of Agriculture is accepting grant applications to assist regional efforts to control feral hog populations. See full details of the process and how it can help here.

6. A 5-year-old girl set up a lemonade stand across the street from the Westboro Baptist Church compound, and now the group is targeting her. She says she wants to raise money to "spread love and compassion." Read their issue with the little girl by clicking here.

7. A new study says bullying and aggressive behavior by a sibling can be just as damaging as bullying by a classmate or anyone else. Dr. Ed Dominguez will join us at 5 to discuss the four types of victimization that are outlined in the study. If you have children or grandchildren, please don't miss this report.

Join us on the livestream on KLTV.com by clicking here; we're online at 4, 5 and 6 for you if you're not near your tv this afternoon!

We'll see you soon,

Stephanie Frazier
