Law enforcement officials say the bodies in last week's quadruple homicide in Polk County have been identified.
74 year old Betty Thompson, 47-year-old Eva Lou Thompson-Saad, her husband Edmond Mitri Saad, the third; and the couple's son, 14-year-old Edmond Mitri Saad the fourth were found shot and burned earlier this week in their home.
Polk County Sheriff's Officials say the alleged shooter, 75-year-old Floyd Thompson, came into the sheriff's office and confessed to the murders on Thursday.
Officers say he shot the 4 family members with a 38-caliber revolver and then set the bodies on fire before confessing. Floyd and Betty Thompson were allegedly going through a divorce and neighbors say Floyd had took it pretty hard, but nobody said they thought he could do anything like this.
