Texas Education Agency releases report on testing irregularity allegations at Tyler ISD

Posted: Updated:
TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

The Texas Education Agency has released its investigation report regarding testing irregularities at a Tyler Independent School District school.

The report shows that a teacher at Boulter Middle School viewed secure testing content without authorization, then discussed it with a peer during Spring 2012 STAAR testing.

Testing administrators sign an oath of security acknowledging that they are not permitted to view or discuss secure testing content.

Tyler ISD released a statement that said, "Tyler ISD conducted an internal investigation according to Texas Education Agency guidelines. At this time, the Texas Education Agency has informed the district that no further action is required."

The teacher named in the investigation has since retired from Tyler ISD.
