Surviving health scares time and time again

After losing several loved ones to cancer, a Trinity woman found herself battling the same fight with the disease. Samantha Sonier packed up and moved to Texas, fighting health issues year after year. At 10, Maegan Prejean has the story on how she is living to tell her miracles during this week's installment of "Survivors."

Three years after a devastating earthquake in Haiti, a Nacogdoches family is still helping the impoverished nation. Zac and Becky Weems lead three mission trips a year to the impoverished country. Prior to their next departure, we wanted to give you some insight as to why Haiti is so special to the Weems. Donna McCollum brings you the story at 6.

An army of teenagers is skipping a week of sleeping in and swimming this summer to give back to their community, doing mission work in East Texas. At 5, Leigha Hughes stopped by to see what the United Methodist Army is working on in Crockett.
