LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

A Lufkin man has pleaded guilty in federal court to trying to rob a Woodville post office.

Court records show Keith DeWayne Bailey, 29, entered the plea on June 19 in Judge Keith Giblin's courtroom.

Bailey tried to rob the post office on Oct. 1, 2012.

He faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Records show he has reached a plea agreement with the US Attorney's Office, which must be approved by a judge following a pre-sentence investigation.
