Posted: Updated:
TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -

If you're planning to celebrate the Fourth of July at the Tempe Town Lake Festival, you can get there easier by riding the light rail or bus.

The city is extending hours for both services on the holiday.  You can ride the light rail for $2 per trip or buy an all day pass for just $4.

Trains will run until midnight on the Fourth. Tempe buses will run on a Sunday schedule until 5 p.m. and then run every 15 minutes Northbound to the Tempe Transportation Center until 8 p.m.  Return service will run until midnight on certain routes.
