CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Maria Zoul still can't believe her beloved friend of 30-years is gone.

Aliza Sherman was murdered by a suspect who is still out there.

"It's hard to believe this has really happened," says Maria Zoul.

In March someone stabbed Sherman on a Sunday afternoon after leaving her attorney's office for a divorce case.

Police have grainy security video of a person leaving the scene.

Zoul says the heartless suspect not only took away a dear friend but a wonderful mother.

"I cannot believe that anyone could have taken a beautiful woman like this. No one deserved to have this," explains Maria Zoul.

Zoul has even turned her car into a driving billboard with Aliza's face on it along with the reward being offered by family to find her attacker.

"We owe this to her," added Zoul.

Sherman's daughter is also determined to get justice.

"She would do this for me, she would be fighting for me and she deserves for us to be out here fighting for her justice," wrote Jen Sherman.

Jen Sherman called her mother her best friend and soul mate. She is looking to bring the monster or monsters to justice.

Sherman is raising reward money and money to help take care of two younger brothers.

As for Zoul she too won't stop until the killer is behind bars.

"You ruined so many lives. I am committed to getting justice for her," said Zoul.

The reward for any information leading to an arrest is at $25,000 but there is a push to increase it.

A petition drive also set up to put pressure on city leaders to do more for this case.
