Over the next three weeks, Justin will be taking a look at Dave Campbell's Texas Football Magazine's predictions and analysis for all of our area teams. To start, we head to district 16-6Man Division 1 where we have Apple Springs and Chester.
The eagles are coming off a 9 and 2 campaign where they were bi-district finalists. Apple Springs returns three starters on offense and four on defense, but none bigger than running back Josh Suggs who rushed for over 2,200 yards and 34 touchdowns a season ago.
As for Chester, the Yellow Jackets are coming off a 2 and 8 season where they went 0 and 3 in league play. 2013 looks promising however as the entire team is returning. Split back Kristopher Kuehn is expected to lead the way after he had over 1,500 hundred all purpose yards and five touchdowns a season ago.
As for where Campbell sees Apple Springs and Chester finishing. Well, they are both expected to miss out on the playoffs.
