LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Lufkin Police Officers responded to a burglar alarm at the Lufkin Lanes bowling alley located at 909 S. Chestnut Drive early Wednesday morning, and found the suspect hiding under a car about a block away.

The man allegedly had in his possession five bottles of alcohol stolen from the bowling alley.

Jeremy Dewayne O'Bryant, 31, of Lufkin, is still being held in the Angelina County Jail on a felony burglary of a building charge and a misdemeanor capias pro fine warrant from the municipal court. No bail has been set for O'Bryant's burglary charge.

At 3:42 a.m., a Lufkin Police officer responded to an active burglar alarm at Lufkin Lanes. He found a door to the building unlocked and didn't find any signs of forced entry.

A short time later, other LPD officers found O'Bryant hiding under a car in the 100 block of Ralph Avenue. He had a bottle of Jack Daniels, a bottle of Hypnotiq, a bottle of Heaven Hill Vodka, a bottle of Cirac Peach, and a bottle of tequila.

The five bottles of alcohol were valued at $155.
