Nacogdoches Co. grand jury indicts man for sexual assault

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

A Louisiana man has posted bail after being booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail following an indictment for sexual assault.

Jeffery Lynn Howard, 30, of Fort Polk, is charged with the second-degree felony.

According to the indictment, Howard sexually assaulted a woman in May.

He posted a $50,000 bail on Tuesday, the same day he was booked in on the charge.
