YARNELL, AZ (CBS5) -

Despite losing her home, 11-year Yarnell resident Jerry Jones-Florman says she loves Yarnell more than ever.

"This was the front of the house obviously," said Jones-Florman, pointing to a pile of ash.

Jones-Florman and her husband built their home on more than 10 acres a decade ago. It burned to the ground Sunday evening.

"We wanted to be here. It was just time for us to leave the Valley," she said.

"I've probably been asked [whether I will rebuild] I don't know how many times. Maybe 30 times in the past week. Most of the time I've said, 'I don't know.' I don't know, but today I can say yes," she said.

Jones-Florman said many people who are in the same situation as her plan to stay.

"It's incredibly spirit. It's just incredible spirit. The people here are just really excited by one another. It will rebuild. It will," she stated.
