Huntington 14U team headed to Dixie League world series

CENTER, TX (KTRE) - The Huntington 14U Dixie Youth League baseball team clinched a spot in the world series on Thursday afternoon in Center by defeating Tri Cities out of Groveton by a score of 6 to 1. Huntington who was a tier two champion also took home the tier one title, which means they are South Carolina bound. The squad went undefeated in the state tournament and will now look to do some damage on the big stage. They are the first ever team out of Huntington to make it to the Dixie Youth League world series.
