On Friday, police arrested a man who allegedly jumped a fence at Nashville International Airport.
According to court documents, the suspect, 44-year-old Derrick Lynn Baker, told officers that he was being chased by two men.
Officers searched the area with a police K-9 and examined surveillance video. They did not find any evidence of a chase, according to affidavits.
Baker was charged with making a false report, criminal trespassing and violating airport security.
As of 8 a.m. Saturday, Baker was still being held in the Metro jail on $15,000 bond.
