Trinity Police hosting softball tournament

TRINITY, TX (KTRE) -

The Trinity Police Department is suiting up for their first ever co-ed softball tournament.

The 10-person teams will step up to the plate on Friday, July 26th and Saturday July 27th.

The event will be at Trinity Auxiliary Field and there will be plenty of softball, concessions and fun for all ages.

And there's still time to form a team.

It's $100 per team, guaranteed 2 games. Trophies will be awarded for the top 3 teams.

Registration ends July 20 or until slots are filled. There are about 8 teams currently signed up.

Rules & requirements: Blue dot balls only, minimum of 10 players on field per team at all times. Minimum of 4 females on field at all times.
