PHOENIX (AP) -

The Arizona Department of Health Services says the summer monsoon means it's time to think about Valley Fever.

The lung infection is caused by a fungus whose spores are spread in air-blown dust,

According to the department, it's hard to prevent Valley Fever infections. But the department says people should stay inside during dust storms to reduce the chances of being infected.

Symptoms include cough, fever, tiredness and shortness of breath.
