NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

A Longview man, believed to be diabetic, was taken to an area hospital after crashing his Chevy Blazer.

According to DPS Trooper Chris Koonce, around 10:30 p.m. Thursday Night, 62 year old James Snyder of Longview was traveling North Bound on Highway 59 just past the Angelina River bridge.

It is believed that Snyder had some sort of Diabetic episode and lost control of the vehicle, sending it airborne off the road and into a tree.

Koonce said that medics on scene could not see any life threatening injuries, but were not sure what the diabetic episode might have done internally to the body.
