Dez ready for another big year

OXNARD, CA (KLTV) -

It has been a quiet off-season for East Texan Dez Bryant.

That is a good thing for the Cowboys.

Recent off-seasons have been marred by numerous incidents involving Bryant's off the field actions.

Bryant spoke at camp for the first time this year, saying his off the field issues are over.

"All that stuff is over," said Bryant, "The incident with my mom, I feel like everything is on the right path."

Bryant continued, "I feel like I am so comfortable with my life and that is what it is all about."

The Lufkin native was on an absolute tear to end the 2012 season, in which he caught 72 passes for nearly 900 yards and 10 touchdowns in the last 8 games.

"Those that are the closest to him, those that have a dog in the fight, which our fans do and alot of other people who are rooting for Dez," said Jerry Jones. "It is pretty much a consenus that he is making great strides."

KLTV Sports Director Ryan Peterson caught up with Bryant both on Tuesday and Wednesday.
