Police surround Longview home after shots fired

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

Longview police responded to a home in the 100 block of Betty Drive on Thursday morning and arrested a man for firing shots inside the residence.

According to police, the call came in just after 8 a.m. on Thursday and police surrounded the house. A woman inside identified the man as her boyfriend. Police were able to take the man into custody without incident.

The suspect may face a mental evaluation.
