LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

A two-vehicle accident on South First Street resulted in a pickup getting knocked into the side of the Carl's Jr. Restaurant Monday afternoon. No one was injured in the accident.

According to a Lufkin Police officer at the scene, a gray 4-door car was driving north on South First Street when the driver of a white GMC Sierra 1500 failed to yield the right-of-way at the crossover near the restaurant.

After the gray car struck the pickup, the GMC was knocked into the side of Carl's Jr., blocking the drive-through and the entrance. It didn't go all the way inside.

No one was injured in the accident. The LPD officer at the scene said the driver of the pickup will likely be cited, and the driver of the gray car was arrested on outstanding warrants.
