PALESTINE, TX (KLTV) -

Three men remain behind bars on Tuesday charged with aggravated kidnapping.

59-year-old Jerry Dyches, 35-year-old Danny Smith, and 40-year-old Scott Kindle are in the Anderson County Jail, their bonds set at $500,000 a piece. Kindle, however, faces an additional charge of assault with a deadly weapon. His bonds total $1,00,000.

The victim told police that in the early hours of Friday morning, he was assaulted by the men. The victims claims he was hit with a baseball bat, metal flashlight, and threatened with a gun. The victim said he was then forced into a truck with the three suspects.

Palestine police officers were able to locate the vehicle and made the arrests. Officers said the victim's injuries were not life threatening.
