NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Deputies with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office have arrested a man accused of trafficking a large amount of cocaine and codeine at his home and nightclub.

James Grigsby, 45, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first-degree delivery of a controlled substance and third-degree possession of a firearm by a felon.

According to Sheriff Jason Bridges, Grigsby is the owner and operator of a club called Metro, located on FM 225.

Bridges said Grigsby had trafficked a large load of cocaine into Nacogdoches County and stored it at a stash house in Nacogdoches. Investigators obtained probably cause to search two houses and the club.

A house on the east side of Loop 224 yielded two pounds of crack cocaine in cookie form, powdered cocaine and a loaded pistol, Bridges said. Deputies found three pounds of codeine and drug paraphernalia in the master bedroom of a house in the 1700 block of Loop 224, Bridges said.

A search of Club Metro resulted in the seizure of another three pounds of codeine inside Grigsby's office, Bridges said.

Bridges said the cocaine has a street value of more than $75,000 and the codeine is worth $6,400.
