ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Lufkin DPS agents arrested two people following a drug search at a home in Angelina County Wednesday morning.

Miko Parks, 33, of Cypress, and Magin Cne Watts, 27, of Lufkin, are each charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third-degree possession of marijuana and state-jail felony endangering a child.

DPS spokesman David Hendry said criminal investigation department agents followed up on complaints in the area of the home, which is not known right now, and received consent to search the home.

The search led to agents seizing 33 pounds of marijuana, 163 grams of crack cocaine, 156 grams of powdered cocaine, a 40-caliber pistol and $5,000 in currency.

Hendry said the investigation revealed a child had been in the home at some point and in danger, which allowed DPS to tack on the endangering charge.
