Crockett PD: 2 men burglarized Valero store, took cash from ATM

CROCKETT, TX (KTRE) -

Crockett Police officers are still trying to locate two men who broke into the Valero convenience store early Sunday morning. The two suspects pried open the store's ATM and stole the money from inside it.

According to a press release from the Crockett Police Department, CPD officers were called out to the Valero convenience store located at 211 South Fourth Street in reference to an activated burglar alarm.

When the officers arrived on the scene, they determined that the store's front door had been forced open. The two suspects stole the money from the ATM while they were inside the Valero. The press release described the two suspects as black men with medium builds. The two men were dressed all in black, and also appeared to wearing gloves and masks.

Authorities believe that the suspects are driving a white 4-door car. The press released stated a third suspect may have been involved as the driver of the car.

There is no further information on the suspect or the vehicle at this time.
