Trinity Co. Sheriff: Constable catches 2 burglary suspects in act

TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

A tip about a burglary in progress resulted in Trinity County Sheriff's deputies catching two men in the act. Both men were arrested and charged with burglary.

Lee Alvin Liles, 31 and Timothy Wade McCannon, 40, both, of Trinity, were arrested and charged with burglary of a habitation, which is a second-degree felony. Each suspect's bail was set at $25,000.

According to Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace, the Pct. 2 Constable's Office received a call about a burglary in progress in the Trinity Cove subdivision. Constable Mark Cole responded to the call, and allegedly caught Liles and McCannon in the middle of breaking into the residence.

Liles and McCannon were arrested at the scene.
