LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Authorities are seeking the public's help in finding a 22-year-old Lufkin native who has been missing since Aug. 4.

Kendra Smith was last seen in North Houston, according to her mother. She was last seen with a few friends from Lufkin.

Although she was paid a few days later, she never picked up her check. Her mother called her job to check on her.

Smith moved to the Houston area two months ago.

The young woman is described as being 5'4" and 169 pounds. She has light brown eyes and brown hair. Smith also has several tattoos on her arms and back.

If anyone knows where Smith is or has seen her, they should call the Harris County Sheriff's Office at 281-537-9492.
