LORAIN COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Three northeast Ohio men were arrested Monday afternoon after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers found heroin in their rented vehicle.

Troopers stopped a rented 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck with Ohio registration for improper lane change and marked lanes violations on the Ohio Turnpike near milepost 135 in Lorain County.

During interaction with the suspects, troopers detected an odor of burnt marijuana and marijuana residue throughout the interior of the vehicle. After a probable cause search, the passenger was found to have a baggy containing 2 ounces of suspected powder heroin, worth $10,000. In addition, a small amount of marijuana was also located.

Harold Travis Jr., 20, Pierre Frazier, 25, and Rickie Bowling, 19, all of Warren, OH, were incarcerated in the Lorain County Jail. They have been charged with possession and trafficking in heroin, which are first-degree felonies.
