LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Changes are coming to theAngelina County Courthouse Annex building in Lufkin.
Thanks to a recent governmentgrant, the county has started to install doors that meet the standards of theAmerican Disabilities Act. The doors at the front now have a button that when pressedwill automatically open.
In the next two weeks, theside doors will be replaced with new sliding doors.
County Tax AssessorCollector Midget Sherman says that new doors will help make it easier forvoters with disabilities to get to the voting area in the courthouse.
